I have moved over 10 times in my life and all I can say is I wish that PODS® moving and storage was available back then.  I could have saved myself a lot of time, money, frustration and hassle for sure.  And just like their slogan, I agree that PODS® is one of the best moving and storage solutions ever.

• Once you are finished loading your POD, the company will return to retrieve your container and drive it either to your new residence or to one of their storage facilities until you are ready to move.

• The containers themselves are large and secure so you can be sure that you will have adequate space for your stuff as well as the peace of mind knowing that your items are safe.

• PODS® are available for both short and long distance moves and the price is really affordable.

Perhaps my favorite feature of the PODS® system is the ability to use the containers to prepare your house for sale.  Let’s use my most recent move as an example.

The last time my family and I moved, we had two kids under the age of three.  Now I’m sure you know that when you have young children – you accumulate a lot of stuff in your house.  We had toys, highchairs, baby swings and playpens all over the place.  Unfortunately, these items tend to make a home look small and cluttered and can be unappealing to potential buyers.

So what did we do?

Well we packed up all of the baby stuff (and many other things) that we didn’t need on a daily basis into boxes and stacked them neatly in our garage.  Sounds like an okay plan right?  But it had one major downfall.
